How long does polished concrete take?

This depends on if you are having polished concrete done in one big area or many small rooms with tiny areas. We can use big machines in open spaces but we must use small machines and hand grinding and polishing in small areas, which is a slower process. The total size of your space is another factor to consider. And if you want to see the full stone or have a high gloss finish, this takes longer as well. Generally, for a new build of 100m2, it is best to allow 5 – 6 days. It might seem more practical to want the shortest possible timeframe, but you do not want to be in a situation where workers have to rush and skip through steps in order to complete the project on a tight deadline. At Grind and Seal Melbourne, we’re willing to invest a little more time and effort to ensure we work with more precision, quality, and attention to detail, enabling us to deliver a top-quality finish on new or existing concrete. The extra time is truly worth the wait when you see the quality and longevity of the finished result.
