What are the colour options for polished concrete?
If you are pouring a new slab, then there are many different colour options you can choose from! If you are polishing an old slab, then there’s only one colour option, and that is whatever the colour of the existing concrete mix (aggregate) is. The colour of polished concrete flooring is all within the concrete, not the polish – so choose your aggregate wisely!
Are polished concrete floors slippery when wet?
All flooring bar carpet gets a bit slippery when wet, and polished concrete is no exception. That being said, polished concrete is not as slippery as other hard flooring options such as tile or timber. Still, we’d recommend drying up spills as soon as they occur and using a slippery floor sign when the floors are wet to ensure everyone’s safety.
My existing polished concrete needs repairing, can you help?
Of course we can! Mechanically polished concrete flooring can be repaired pretty easily in small areas, and we are more than happy to repair it for you. We first used Grind and Seal at our Braeside premises in May 2018 to prepare our concrete floor into a beautiful shiny area for some vintage cars.
