Can you stain polished concrete?

Concrete can be dyed or stained prior to polishing. However, we don’t like to recommend either of these processes. This is partly because, due to concrete being a natural product with varying levels of uptake over the same floor, using dyes or stains can create a very patchy and uneven look. If you don’t mind having a patchy appearance, then yes, your polished concrete can be tinted. Please be aware that most people don’t tend to like the finished appearance of stained concrete, though, so it is definitely important to ask for photos of previous floors before you make a decision about wanting a stain.
